Brittany Burton - Director
Songwriting, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop
With over a decade of teaching experience, Brittany is a nurturing mentor who's tuned to the power of performing arts. From singing in classical choirs to training with top-notch vocal and performance coaches who've worked with Disney and Nickelodeon talents, she’s dedicated over 20 years to performing arts training. She’s performed in crowds of thousands, won national dance titles and even landed a record and publishing deal in her twenties. She has written songs for Disney’s Ross Lynch & Glee’s Kevin Mchale!
At the heart of her teaching philosophy is a deep appreciation for the unique talents and individuality of each child, providing a supportive environment where young performers can thrive and shine.
Tyler Marie Watkins
Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop
Beginning her training at age 3, Tyler has learned from some of the industry’s best! She has performed in Annie at The Hollywood Bowl directed by Michael Arden, Matilda the Musical and The Hunchback of Notre Dame with 5-Star Theatricals, and placed in the Top 50 on So You Think You Can Dance. Tyler is passionate about inspiring young dancers to find confidence, creativity, and joy through movement. She is thrilled to teach at The Creative Arts Academy & can’t wait to bring her energy, heart, and creativity into every class!
Katy Jarvis
Acting, Singing, Musical Theatre, Princess Ballet
Katy Jarvis is a performer and educator based in Ventura, California, with a passion for inspiring young artists through musical theatre. Holding a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Hartford and professional training from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, Katy brings over a decade of stage and teaching experience to her work with children. Her professional background includes acting and modeling under Stone Talent Agency, performing with Rubicon Theatre Company, and teaching theatre and dance to elementary students
Jamie Avecilla
All Boys Hip Hop & K-Pop
Jamie Avecilla is a dynamic and dedicated hip hop dance instructor whose passion for movement was shaped through years of training at his childhood dance studio in Oxnard. With experience teaching students ages 3–17 in both studio and after school settings, Jamie brings high energy, creativity, and professionalism to every class. He is known for inspiring confidence, nurturing individual growth, and creating an inclusive, uplifting environment where every dancer feels seen and empowered.
